FTQ-99Nx Controller

The FTM-99Sx and FTM-99Nx Controllers were designed and developed especially for firing firework displays and other pyrotechnic effects. Focused on the needs of the professional and advanced hobbyist, the FTM Controllers provide bi-directional communication with up to 99 fireTEK Modules across the fireTEK Wireless Mesh Network.

The Controllers provide full control of manual firing, automatic firing, and semi-automatic firing across the whole network. The controller allows convenient control of the script including editing and disabling of effects on the go.

All Controllers also come with an integrated audio player minimizing the equipment required to conduct a pyromusical. The audio player is also capable of SMPTE timecode. GPS control is also available. Like all fireTEK devices, the Controllers can interface with the fireTEK computer and Android applications.

The FTM Controller remains conveniently compact, yet packed with the following additional features and options:

COMMUNICATIONS: Bidirectional, encrypted, redundant.
Wireless 868/915Mhz*: With 1 hope repeater and up to 10Km range (more realible on interferences).

Wired**: XLR 3 pins connection up to 300m. Can act as DMX controller.

SMART AUTOMATICALLY TEST:
– NO complicated tests procedure, NO need user to press a button. Automatically fully tests all modules every few seconds.
– One button press to jump to the next module with errors where errors will be marked with RED.
– Four categories of errors: Communication, Battery, Script vs Connected and Other Two kind of errors: Warnings and Faults.
– Warnings may not affect the show: as low battery (but will still work for at leats one hour), connected but not in script.
– Faults: May affect the show if are not solved as: in script but not connected, depleated battery, module disconnected.

POWER:
Battery: Single cell recharghable Lipo 3.7V@4000mAh, easy replacebable by the user.
Charging: USB C from standard USB charger. About 7 hours to fully charge.
External power: Any USB charger or USB power bank and would work even if internal battery is failed or is missing.

STANDBY TIME: It can be fast and easy extened with an external USB power bank.
Fully working: up to 12 Hours.

USER INTERFACE:
Display: Color LCD 3,5′ 480*320 with backlight for local testing of all statuses from all modules.
Keyboard: 31 control buttons + 1 power button + 1 illuminated key switch.

FUNCTIONALITIES:
Main Master: To control up to 99 firetek firing modules + up to 9 Music sync box.
Backup Master: For backup control in case Main Master fails during the show.
As Audiobox: In this mode it can act only as an Audiobox. All the other buttons are disabled.

FIRING MODES:
Fully automatic with or without music, Sequence firing, Step fire and Manual firing and in any combination in the same time.
Manual fire: Any module or up to 9 modules in the same in any firing states (Arm/Play/Pause) even when a script is running.
Sequence fire: Up to 64 sequences which can be start anytime in firing states (Arm/Play/Pause). Does not affect the main script. Multiple sequences can be fired and can overlap without affecting each other. DMX sequences can be refired.
Step fire: Manual fire step by step by automatically increasing channel/rail and module number.
Jump to next event: Manual jump to next event in script.

SAFETY ZONES:
– You can have up to 16 safety zones to fast disable some products or modules.

FIRING CONTROL:
Panel buttons: From controller buttons.
Time code: From external time code SMPTE/LTC.
GPS Time**: On a preset very precise time via GPS.

AUDIOPLAYER:
– Built in high fidelity audio player, stereo RCA outputs.
File format: wav, 44100@16b or 32b.
Storage: Internal memory or USB drive.

TIMECODE:
– In and Out via RCA connector.
Input format: 24fps, 25fps and 30fps Autodetect.
Output: 25 or 30 fps.

GPS:
– Controller has default built in GPS module for precise timing.

OPTIONS (Plug and play boards):
– GPS, Wireless 868/915Mhz and/or Wireless 2.4Ghz, Wired connection (also work as DMX)**.

SCRIPT:
– Scripts upload to module in advance to allow for precise and reliable firing.
– Scripts can be upload it wireless via controller or directly to module via USB.
– You can see directly on module screen information about Script name, product name, time, channel resistance for each channel.

OTHER:
Power off: Can wireless power off all modules connected to the controller.
Stand By: Automatically modules goes in standby mode to save power when controller is powered off.
Sleep: You can wireless send modules on sleep and wake up form the controller.
Buzzer and lights: Acoustic and LED signals for Arming and firing.
Firmware update: Free, Fast and Easy via USB drive.
